SECTION 1:     POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Graduate Engineer

Location: Middlesbrough

SECTION 2:     KEY ROLE

•          In Liaison with the Client, Third Party Suppliers, and members of the Operations Team, the development, submission to the Client, and update, of Logistics Strategy Proposal Documents for the movement of (Out of Gauge / Abnormal or Heavy Lift) Cargo.

•          The Maintenance completeness and accuracy of Technical Files.

•          Site attendance and Supervision

SECTION 3:     REPORTS TO

LINE MANAGER TITLE: Logistics Group Engineering Director

SECTION 3a:     INTERFACES WITH

• Clients
• Personnel in other company offices in-country teams as required
• Third Party Supplier Senior Management and operational staff as required.

SECTION 4:     RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

The Technical and Engineering team is based in Middlesbrough, UK, supporting the entire group with project management, planning, engineering and supervision services. Activities involve working with the owners & operators of heavy lift vessels, cranes, road transportation equipment and aircraft across a multitude of market sectors.

SECTION 4a:     Main Objective

•          Client drawing reviews

•          Production of documents

•          CAD drawing and basic design work

•          Project Planning

•          Assisting with onsite activities (UK / International travel is required)

SECTION 5:     MINIMUM COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

Required Competencies

• Degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred).
• Details of work experience encouraged.

Education and Qualifications:

-        AutoCad

-        Vi-deck (Vessel securing analysis programme)

-        Excel

-        Microsoft office

• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work without close supervision yet able to judge when advice and support is required
