One of my clients, a leading global engineering and consulting firm known for delivering innovative solutions in the transportation, infrastructure, and energy sectors is looking for Senior Estimators to join their business in Manchester.

The individuals would be responsible for shaping projects in the transportation, infrastructure, and energy sectors, leading development initiatives, guiding practices, and promoting technical excellence in advising on cost to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

Strong understanding of industry benchmarks, best practices, and measurement methods (e.g., RMM, MMHW).
Proficient in quantity surveying and knowledgeable about the construction industry.
Ability to identify key cost drivers in a project and translate engineering data into meaningful cost insights.
Experienced with estimating software and adept at creating custom spreadsheets for cost monitoring and reporting.
Comprehensive understanding of AACE Recommended Practices and estimate classification systems, with practical application at each class level.
Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience and qualifications.
Membership in RICS, CIOB, or A. Cost E.
Proven track record of technical excellence, innovation, and exceptional service delivery in estimating for infrastructure projects in sectors like rail and transport, heavy civils, energy, and nuclear.
Technical capability to challenge engineering teams and identify cost-effective design solutions.
