Location: Hybrid Role (Primarily Remote with Occasional Travel)

Job Overview:

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for sourcing and procurement? We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our EMEA Sourcing team within the Mechanical Systems category. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence our sourcing strategies, work closely with suppliers, and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Market & Supply Chain Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of markets, supply chains, and our supplier base to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure supply chain resilience.
Supplier Selection & Relationship Management: Identify and engage with qualified suppliers, maintaining strong relationships to ensure optimal sourcing outcomes.
Strategic Sourcing: Execute complex sourcing strategies that align with our business goals, ensuring the best possible cost, quality, and supplier relationships.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with peers and stakeholders to support business objectives, such as securing supply, reducing complexity, and meeting financial targets.
End-to-End Sourcing: Manage sourcing activities independently, considering the entire supply chain and its impact on business outcomes.
Process Improvement: Participate in developing and refining sourcing and commodity strategies, ensuring that our processes are efficient and consistently applied.
Leadership & Coaching: Lead analysis projects, providing guidance and coaching to less experienced team members, and presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate select contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with suppliers.
Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and ethical standards.Key Competencies:
