Candidate:

* You will be able to exemplify in depth food packaging and systems knowledge.

* You will be able to exemplify a track record of working in fast paced food manufacturing environments.

* Happy to get stuck in on the factory floor on things like factory trials.

* Having an up-to-date knowledge of packaging and sustainability trends, challenges and technologies.

* Ability to create, innovate and investigate more sustainable practices.

* Helpful if you have the following knowledge: WRAP, Plastic Pact, OPRL.

The Role:

* You'll be reporting directly into the Head of NPD working within a team of 10.

* Assist in building and maintaining the innovation packaging reduction program, driving continuous improvement and sustainable policies.

* Constantly sharing knowledge and expertise of packaging concepts and materials.

* Assist the NPD team in new concepts and implement packaging formats off the back of this.

* Attend packaging trials.

* Engage with Technical & Operations teams to check quality, reports and claims when required.
