CNC Machinist required to join a packaging company based in the Batley area. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce custom tooling and components that support the efficient production of our packaging products.

CNC Machinist Job Overview

Program, Set Up, and Operate CNC Machines - Interpret engineering drawings and CAD files to program CNC machines for precise cuts, dimensions, and finishes.
Quality Control - Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and design specifications, using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools as needed.
Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety guidelines and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

CNC Machinist Job Requirements

2+ years of experience in CNC machining, Turning or Milling
Technical Skills - Proficient in programming, setup, and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines.
Strong knowledge of Fanuc controlled machines
Attention to Detail - High level of precision and attention to quality and detail.

CNC Machinist Salary & Benefits

Full time - Permanent position
Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week (48 available)
£32,000 - £36,000 (DOE)
33 days holiday including BH
