We are looking for a Fabric Engineer to join the team of an established facilities maintenance company on a temp to perm basis, covering the Newark, Nottingham, and Retford areas.

Fabric Engineer (Temp to Perm)
Location: Newark, Nottingham, and Retford Patch
Pay Rate: £20-£22 per hour (Paid Weekly via Umbrella Company)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

As a Fabric Engineer, your main duties will be:

Carpentry: General woodwork, including door and frame repairs, and skirting board installations.

*

Plumbing: Basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, installing sinks, and toilets.

*

Painting & Decorating: Carrying out painting and decorating work, including finishing touches to ensure the highest standards.

*

General Fabric Maintenance: Providing high-quality repairs and maintenance for various building fabric needs.

To be successful as a Fabric Engineer, you will need:

*

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry

*

Previous experience in a similar fabric engineering or building maintenance role.

*

A full, clean driving license (essential as the role covers a patch in the Newark, Nottingham, and Retford areas).

*

Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to work to regulations.
