Accountable Recruitment are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a business in Liverpool City Centre. This is a great opportunity for someone studying their ACCA / CIMA qualification to join an established team.

Job Duties:

• Support forecasting, data analysis, and project profitability reviews.
• Assist with budgets, year-end preparation, and contract reviews.
• Maintain supplier records, project data, and fixed asset register.
• Handle VAT returns, banking routines, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payment runs, and account reconciliations in Sage.
• Validate invoices against purchase orders and resolve queries.

Ideal experience

• Ideally AAT Qualified / Part-Qualified with ACCA or CIMA
• Excellent IT skills and use of Excel
• Effective communicator
• Ability to meet deadlines and be organised
