A mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their vibrant team from April 2025 until the end of the academic year. The role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available, and will involve teaching KS3 to KS5 students.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students across a broad spectrum of abilities, ensuring that all learners have the chance to achieve their full potential in the field of Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5
Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge of Computer Science
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider school community, engaging with staff, students, and parents
Keep up to date with developments in the subject and adapt teaching practices accordingly
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A strong passion for Computer Science and education
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
A commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience for all students
