We are looking for a CHP Filed Engineer to work for a Renewables company based from home covering the South East region,

This role is 40 hours per week.

Job Role

Day to day operations and maintenance including but not limited to, fault diagnosis, location and rectification.

Planned maintenance and breakdown response for the generating assets with minimum outages.

A commitment to continuous enhancement of skills and knowledge, and that of the technicians working with you.

Avoiding unnecessary expenditure by using skills and tools available within the company.

Ensuring a stock of basic spare parts as detailed by the Area Supervisor is replenished and always available.

A commitment to Health, Safety Quality and Environmental practices following all procedures and using your own judgement.

Reducing the company's reliance on contractors wherever this is economically prudent.

Compliance and implementation of company protection procedures with a proactive approach to maintaining, monitoring, reporting and auditing.

Managing your time and travel effectively, staying away from home when appropriate. Compliance with all legislation.

Seek guidance and advice from the Engineering and Management team in anything you are unsure of.

Knowledge/ Experience:

Extensive knowledge and experience of Electrical, Heat and Mechanical maintenance.

Recognised level in an Electrical skill or relevant experience in the field.

Experience with electric control systems 12v DC - 415v AC 30ø

Fault location, diagnosis and rectification. Gassafe accreditation or ability to complete within probation

Electrical qualification or ability to complete 18th edition within probation

Experience working with Natural Gas Peaker Plants, CHP, PV, Energy Storage, HVAC systems is advantageous.

Computer literate.
