Surecall Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team in Hammersmith, Paddington and Charing Cross within the NHS. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.

You will be expected to work 5 days a week, mainly Monday - Friday but occasional weekends may be required.

Rates of Pay;

Monday - Friday - £14.06 per hour
Saturday - £18.99 per hour
Sunday - £23.77

Duties:

- Prepare, cook and present food for patients and staff breakfast, lunch and dinner following the agreed recipes and standards set by the Trust
- To maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in line with current legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Plan the production of special diets in accordance with standard recipes as advised by ward based teams and Trust Dieticians on request
- To ensure correct materials and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order. Report faulty machinery/equipment immediately.
- Accurately record all food wastage and report to Head Chef or Catering Service Manager as applicable

Skills:

- Level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety
- Basic DBS on the update service
- 3 Years employment history
- Mandatory Trainings
- Health Certificate
- Knowledge for special dietary requirements
- Proven catering experience
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Willing to apply for a Health Certificate
