Our client, a market leader within the global insurance market, are recruiting for a proactive and numerical Credit Controller to join their team.The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the allocation and clearance of current and legacy aged debt as well as un-allocated settlements for the group.Duties will include, but not be limited to, investigating settlements, and allocating funds accurately, working closely with the Finance department, underwriting department, claims department, brokers and clients to resolve issues, escalating problematic queries, chasing debts, sending monthly statements, dealing with internal and external queries, and attending weekly team meetings.The ideal candidate will have previous similar experience within the Lloyds Insurance / Reinsurance market . You will have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise your workload, be proactive with ideas and use your own initiative. Experience on Aged Debt Reporting, good understanding of Bureau systems, and advanced Excel skills are essential.
