Hexagon Recruitment is seeking a skilled Blending Operator for an exciting opportunity in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire!Blending Operator - Food ManufacturingLocation: Ellesmere Port, CheshireHours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2pmSalary: Starting at £23,795 but then will go up to £26,800 after trainingOur client, a leading food manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Blending Operator to join their production team. This role offers the chance to work with both liquid and dry ingredients in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate blending equipment to mix ingredients
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Perform regular quality checks and record data
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and KPIs
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Experience as a Blending Operator, ideally in food manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Good numeracy and basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• FLT license preferred (training provided if not)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Food Safety in Manufacturing Level 2
• HACCP certification
• Chemical Awareness and COSHH training
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge
