M4 Specialist Recruitment are recruiting an Air Conditioning Service, Breakdown and Repair Engineer for our Client based in Welwyn Garden City AL7 1GX who special in the Installation, Service and Maintenance of a wide variety of air conditioning equipment., covering London and surrounding home counties.
Candidates must be located within a 20 mile radius of the AL7 1GX postcode
Responsibilities
To carry out maintenance including fault finding/ diagnosis and repairs on equipment including VRF's, split type air conditioning and refrigeration plant.
Occasionally, carry out other aspects of air conditioning works on projects from installation to test and commissioning within agreed programmes.
To complete commissioning certificates
Be responsible for the distribution and safe keeping of materials on site. Ensuring that any defects/shortfalls are notified.
Be required to provide technical advice occasionally to clients on site.
Requirements (Essential)
Candidates must be C&G Level 2 Fgas and ODS Regulations: Cat 1 qualified.
A full UK valid driving license is essential.
Candidates must be an experienced air conditioning service, breakdown and repair engineer with a minimum of 3 years' post qualification.
Must have strong fault-finding skills.
Candidates must have good organisation skills to ensure deadlines are met, and be able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to get to the heart of a problem to take it through to completion.
Have basic computer knowledge.
Tidiness and attention to detail are essential as our Client primarily work in high-end residential properties
Requirements (Desirable)
It is desirable for the candidate to have IPAF/PASMA however this is not essential as the correct training can be offered by the company to obtain these.
BMS systems knowledge is an advantage
It is desirable for the candidate to have City and Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.

Salary: c. £45k per annum, depending on experience plus overtime
