We are actively recruiting for a successful company who are seeking a qualified Finance Manager who is looking to be responsible for the following or whom are looking to step into a Finance Controller position.

The Finance Manager or Financial Controller will play a key role in supporting the finance function of this small but highly successful growing business. This is an exciting time for the organisation who have experienced growth over the past five years.

Role will to be ensure accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the overall financial success of the organisation, supporting the Head of Finance, and driving efficiency in financial operations.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual with a solid background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in finance and accounting, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Collaborate with the Head of Finance in developing and implementing financial

strategies aligned with the business objectives.

Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing valuable insights

for decision-making processes.

Monthly Closing and Financial Reporting:

Oversee the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accurate and timely

completion of financial statements.

Maintain and monitor accruals, prepayments, and other provisions to accurately

reflect financial position.

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of

financial data.

Identify and resolve discrepancies or outstanding items promptly.

Oversee filing of VAT returns

Payroll Processing:

Manage the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries,

benefits, and statutory deductions.

Liaise with HR and HMRC as needed.

All statutory reporting, including all P11Ds and other HMRC returns.

Data Analytics: Utilise data analytics tools and techniques to analyse financial data, identify

trends, and provide meaningful insights for business improvement.

Maintain and issue the Daily Financials report, Cashflow report and any other

reports that the business requires.

Year-End Audit Assistance:

Support the Head of Finance during the year-end audit, including the preparation

of audit schedules and providing necessary information to auditor

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

A recognised professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent,

is essential.
