A London market insurance business is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to process invoices and supplier payments to ensure Accounts Payable runs efficiently, and to be responsible for the accurate processing, authorising and recording of the company's financial transactions.Main areas of responsibility will include (but not limited to) processing of invoices for an allocated range of vendors, dealing with supplier queries, reconciliation for accounts payable bank accounts, administration of all bank accounts, including mandates, opening and closing accounts and online access, processing of multiple currency payment instructions onto the system, reconciling approximately 15 bank accounts, processing of employee expenses, and ensuring all invoices are paid within terms of trade and employee expenses are reimbursed within two weeks of receipt of claim.Applicants must have previous Accounts Payable and account reconciliation experience ideally gained within a financial services organisation, be an analytical thinker, have a willingness to learn new things and have strong excel skills.
