Admissions Assistant
Part time Permanent role
Monday - Friday 20 hours per week.
Workplace based close to Haywards Heath. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport.
Salary. £16 per hour or £13440 per year based upon 20 hours, plus excellent staff benefits, free lunches for staff. Great opportunity to work in beautiful surroundings. Holidays to be taken in school holiday periods.
The Role:
The role demands exceptional people skills and customer focused attention to detail, together with energy and enthusiasm and the willingness to go the extra mile. Working with the Registrar, the Admissions Assistant role encompasses all aspects of the admissions process.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Ensuring the school is compliant with its key duties as a UKVI-licence sponsor, including:
Managing documents for overseas pupils prior to enrolment.
Keeping records of passports and visas up to date
Issuing sponsor document for sponsored pupils
Review and update policies relating to the sponsorship process
To respond to enquiries from prospective families and ensure the school database is kept updated
Arrange visits for prospective families and International Agents to include conducting tours of the school
Assist with the organisation and attend Open Mornings, Taster Days and Assessment Days
Work closely with the Registrar to manage the end-to-end process from pupil registration to joining the school
Supporting the Registrar with various administrative tasks
Attend school Open Mornings
Experience and competencies required:
Excellent administration skills and communication skills
Strong literacy and articulation levels
A warm and professional telephone manner
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good IT literacy, ideally competent with Excel and databases
