Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker with a commitment to making a difference in children's lives? Our Client is seeking a qualified professional to join their Disabled Children and Young People's Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Develop and implement care plans in line with statutory requirements and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure holistic support for children and their families.
- Manage a diverse caseload effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of childcare legislation, policies, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma, BA/BSc/MA, CQSW) as recognized by Social Work England.
- Registration: Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience: Significant experience in children's services, particularly in complex family and child protection scenarios.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child development, legislation, and assessment processes.
- Exceptional liaison and negotiation skills with agencies and professionals.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
