Our client is recognised as one of the UK’s leading law firms and they are currently looking for a Legal Secretary/Administrator to join their Real Estate team for 2 months
The main purpose of the role is to provide a high-quality, professional admin support service to the team.
Responsibilities: -
- OnePlace - adding contacts/firm activity, creating contacts for Brand New Clients before opening on NBI
• BigHand tasks including document creation and manuscript amendments.
• New Client/Matter creation - NBI (Creating Engagement Letters, SRA checks - adding fee estimate to 3E)
• Land Registry tasks - Office copy entry downloads, Official searches, Land Registry applications
• Stamp Duty Land Tax - on-line portal - completion and submission of SDLT forms
• Property Searches - Input and uploading searches.
• Data room downloading and uploading.
• Diary Management
• Email management when lawyer away
• Archiving, deeds scheduling
• Booking events for lawyer
• Printing/Scanning/Saving documents
• Post to be sent out via royal mail/special delivery (or arrange to send to facilities with detailed instructions for printing)
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a law firm as a Secretary or Administrator
