Providing a financial management, decision support and analysis service to enable informed decision making by the Senior Leadership and their teams. You will provide analysis and value add insight through Financial reporting that provides assurance to key stakeholders and that they are on track to deliver against plans and budgets.

Description

Provide a full senior finance business partnering service for the activities and stakeholders that you are partnering.Collaborate with departments across the organisation to improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting & analysis on organisational performance.Drive analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to organisation strategy.Deliver financial training and coaching to managers and budget delegates Guide and support your customers throughout the planning, budget and forecasting processes. Ensure that they understand the financial reporting requirements and outputSupport the development of tools to provide financial management and scenario planning for budget holdersProduce, verify and maintain the documented outputs of the planning process ensuring that they are accurate, consistent and that cross-functional plans are alignedContribute effectively to the integration of planning and budgeting processes across the wider CFO teamAdd value to the team by seeking to improve the quality and efficiency of the Finance Business Partnering ways of working.Keep track of external best practice and stakeholder feedback and utilise as appropriateSupport change to ensure operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.Develop partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teamsWork with your customers to identify financial risks and opportunities to their planned activitiesLead on the tracking of financial performance against departmental plans and forecast, drive for corrective action when needed and ensure that plans remain aligned to the strategy, Business Plans and BudgetsAttend relevant departmental and project meetings, ensuring there is a finance presence where appropriateAnalyse and suggest improvements that could be made to current systems, structures and reportingEnsure compliance with business processes and controls are being adhered to by key customersTo deputise for Strategic Finance Business Partners as requiredTo become involved in other ad hoc activities as required

Profile

Qualified member of recognised accounting body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Established track record of Business Partnering within a large, complex organisation

Excellent understanding of financial processes and controls.

Proven experience of working in a matrix managed environment

Effective stakeholder management and customer liaison skills

Business Partnering experience at a Senior Leadership level
