Your in depth understanding of systems engineering (covering the full systems lifecycle) and understanding of marine or defence standards will help you to support my client as a Senior Systems Engineer. You will support various aspects of large UK Defence, Cyber and Intelligence Programmes, providing our customers with timely delivery within budget.

About the job:
 
Our client currently requires a Senior Systems Engineer to conduct SE activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept through to in-service, of complex integrated maritime systems in the UK Defence Sector. Our products support the operation of the UKs' most important Naval assets. Your technical expertise will support the development and growth of SE expertise. The job will include;

Accountable for completion of Systems Engineering activities throughout the entire project lifecycle
Support the implementation of Systems Engineering processes
Support/lead stakeholder technical reviews
Engage multi-discipline teams to facilitate successful delivery
Ensure delivery in accordance with company standards of conduct
About you:
As a Senior Systems Engineer your skills and qualifications will include:
Proven experience and knowledge of Systems Engineering models, techniques, lifecycle planning, delivering and reporting
Experience of requirements development, design, integration and acceptance 
Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering/Software/Hardware engineering (SE processes and methodologies (iaw. ISO 15288/INCOSE))
Strong team player with good people and communication skills
Systems thinking, logical approach, RCA/rectification/regression management
Engaging 'can do' attitude
Engaging customer focus,
Strong technical writing skills
