Behaviour Mentor | Birmingham, B65 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school in the Rowley Regis area. This role offers the rewarding opportunity to significantly contribute to the development and success of students requiring extra support to manage their behaviours. The school is looking for you to join them on a full-time basis from September, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a student with behavioural difficulties.
Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and deliver support by developing strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes.
Encourage active participation and engagement with learning.
Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development.The ideal candidate will:

Experience in managing challenging behaviours and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
