About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Access Control Product Specialist to join our team in Manchester. This is a key role for a seasoned technical professional with in-depth experience in access control products, who will support and empower field engineers on-site. This role involves providing expert technical support, ensuring that engineers have the guidance they need to deliver efficient, effective solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for access control products to engineers on-site and remotely, addressing complex technical issues swiftly and accurately.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software-related problems, applying your knowledge of access control systems to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct diagnostic analysis of systems to ensure optimal performance, guiding engineers through repairs and adjustments.
  • Document and escalate critical issues when necessary to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a technical resource for the team, providing training and sharing expertise to enhance our service offering.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in access control technology and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in access control product support, particularly in a field or on-site support role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of software troubleshooting and basic networking, ideally with access control or security systems.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Based in or near Manchester, with a willingness to occasionally travel as required.
