My client is a well-established MRO industrial distributor with over 50 years in the market, currently undergoing aggressive expansion across multiple regions. Operating as the industrial division of a national electrical distributor, they provide electrical and mechanical maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) solutions to a broad range of industries, including FMCG, manufacturing, automotive, and industrial engineering.

Role: External Sales - MRO Industrial Solutions

Locations Available:

SheffieldWhat You'll Be Selling:

MRO solutions - Primarily electrical and mechanical products.
Direct distribution to industrial end-users, consultants, and installers in key sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, and industrial solutions (lighting, mechanics, and automation).

Key Responsibilities:

New business development - Actively growing a new region, building relationships, and expanding market share.
Account management & retention - Once the foundation is set, developing a long-term customer base.
Autonomous role - Work from home (WFH), self-manage your diary, and focus on customer engagement.
Consultative sales approach - Selling directly to end-users, consultants, and installers in various industrial sectors.
Strategic growth focus - Success is measured by business expansion, revenue growth, and customer development, rather than rigid sales targets.

What's on Offer?

Base Salary:

£45K - £55K for experienced candidates who can hit the ground running (5-10 years' experience in MRO sales).
£30K - £35K for those with some external sales experience, looking to step up in their career.Company Car Provided

Who We're Looking For?

Experience in MRO Sales - Electrical or mechanical background preferred.
 Go-Getter Attitude - Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously.
 Commercially Driven - Comfortable managing long-term customer relationships and developing new business.
 No Micromanagement Culture - This role requires someone who can self-manage, plan their own diary, and work independently.
