Position: Hotel Manager / Food and Beverage Manager

Athena are currently looking for a Hotel Manager with strong Food and Beverage experience or a Food and Beverage Manager looking for a General manager position. Our client are an established conference and banqueting venue with a solid track record in Weddings, Banqueting and commercial conferences.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversight and support to all departments.

* Reporting to a Board of Directors.

* Development and management of Duty Management team

* Management and development of staffing in all departments

* Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all Hotel bars and catering operations.

* Ensure a consistent first-class service to guests

* Ensure that company high standards are adhered to.

* Ensure all sales activity is monitored in line with company policy.

* Monitor key departmental controls responsible for GP and NP targets.

* Monitor and comply with all company and legal statutory requirements.

* Support the hotel in the achievement/maintenance of quality awards

Hotel Manager key attributes:

* Previous experience as General Manager, Food and Beverage or Operations Manager, Hotel Manager or Operations Manager in similar-sized branded or independent hotel operations.

* Demonstrate the ability to build on existing business adding value.

Hotel Manager Rewards:

• Salary of £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on experience.
