Recycling & Cleaning Operative

Location: Ipswich

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri 9.15am to 6pm (40 hours per week)

Duties:

* Scanning returned equipment into the correct area prior to cleaning

* Cleaning and washing mobility aids and products

* Sanitising items of medical furniture

* Ensuring all stock control processes are followed and items are in the correct location

* Booking new stock in and barcoding appropriately

* Checking items can be returned to shelf in clean and fit for purpose condition

* Following the guidelines for dealing with scrap equipment disposal and to carefully follow the health and safety guidelines regarding the control of hazardous substances

* Adhering stringently to processes regarding stock accountability

* Unloading delivery vehicles in a safe and competent manner

* Use of a scanner to move stock and pick items of equipment for deliveries

* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse
