Role Responsibilities

As a Client Manager, you’ll take ownership of client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and contributing to the growth of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Overseeing accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as their key point of contact
  • Providing strategic advice to clients to support their financial growth and success
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members to enhance their development
  • Monitoring workflows to ensure deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard
  • Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with significant experience in practice
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver excellent service
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and business advisory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is advantageous
