Database Support Engineer

Salary: to £50K     Job Type: Permanent    Location: City of London

Key Responsibilities

• Providing BAU Support for the Database team
• Configuring and troubleshooting the SQL server
• Monitoring and reporting on database checks
• Assisting in database deployment
• Scripting and Automating processes for application delivery
• Collaborating with various members to ensure project delivery 

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with MS SQL Server 
• Knowledge of Database Security concepts in Windows and Linux environments 
• Experience of dealing with Disaster Recover (DR)
• Any Automation skills with Ansible would be great 
• Some programming knowledge i.e Python, Java, SQL, PowerShell etc. 
• Understanding of Cloud technology
