Quantity Surveyor - Passive Fire Protection
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

About the Role
My client is a passive fire protection company based in Coventry offering services such as structural fire stopping, cavity barriers, fire door installation, and compartmentation surveys. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the team and support the delivery of passive fire protection projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coventry.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of cost control, planning, and reporting across a range of projects. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial success and compliance of our fire protection services.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

* Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control

* Develop and maintain cost plans and budgets

* Produce accurate cost reports and forecasts

* Work closely with project teams to manage financial risks and opportunities

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

What We're Looking For

* Strong background in cost control, cost management, and cost reporting

* Experience with BOQ preparation and cost planning

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

* Previous experience in the passive fire protection industry (preferred but not essential)

* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
