Candour Talent is proud to be representing a growing electronics manufacturer in their search for a Quality Engineer to join their team in South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a quality-driven, customer-focused organisation delivering technically advanced products across global markets.

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the experience to drive improvements in product quality, systems, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Support and improve product and process control strategies to meet customer and regulatory expectations

Maintain and continuously develop the Quality Management System (QMS)

Conduct internal, external, and supplier audits

Investigate and resolve quality concerns, applying root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions

Monitor key quality metrics such as customer complaints, cost of quality, and performance indicators

Provide technical support for problem-solving activities and process improvements

Assist with maintaining industry certifications and external accreditations

Participate in new product introduction and engineering change processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Support customer satisfaction efforts by maintaining quality standards across manufacturing processes

Ensure compliance with procedures related to ESD, MSD, and FOD

What We're Looking For

Experience in a quality engineering or similar role within a manufacturing environment

Background in manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries (preferred)

Practical understanding of QMS and quality tools including root cause analysis, audits, and CAPA

Familiarity with customer-specific requirements and regulatory standards

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Engineering or technical qualification (preferred)
