As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insight and driving strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will act as a key business partner, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to deliver actionable insights that enhance performance and align with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

* Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate business performance and forecast future outcomes.

* Partner with budget holders and senior leaders to provide expert financial advice, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

* Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies for improvement.

* Lead on the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

* Support the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and efficiency programs.

* Provide financial input into project evaluations, business cases, and policy reviews.

* Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring financial risks are identified and mitigated effectively.

* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting standards.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Qualified Accountant ( CA / CIMA / ACCA )

* Proven experience in a finance role with a strong focus on analysis and business partnering.

* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.

* Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.

* A strong understanding of public sector financial processes is highly desirable.
