Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a vibrant mainstream secondary school in Greenwich. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group support to students experiencing behavioural difficulties.
Develop and implement individual behaviour plans tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance to ensure continuous improvement.
Lead interventions and social skills sessions to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging them to engage in their education and make better choices.
Assist in the management of classroom behaviour, supporting teachers in maintaining a productive learning environment.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to the school's behaviour management strategy.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or mentoring setting.
Strong understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are advantageous.
