Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working with a growing household name in Worthing, West Sussex in the appointment of an experienced Management Accountant.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the role will play a crucial part in the delivery of timely management accounts and monthly reporting.

The role: Management Accountant

Salary: £40K - £42K + Benefits

Hours: 9am - 5pm

Location: Worthing - Hybrid working (3 office, 2 from home)

Duties & responsibilities:

Overseeing daily financial accounts
Intercompany journal postings
Intercompany Matrix/reconciliation and bank reconciliations
Cashbook postings and preparing the fixed asset register
Generate income statement and balance sheet / cost centre reporting
Annual audit preparation
Ad-hoc reports such as: Spend reports, repair cost reporting etc.
Prepare accrual and pre-payment analysis
Corp tax, deferred tax reconciliationSkills and experience

Experience preparing a full set of monthly management accounts
Inventory experience is ideal but not essential
Qualified by experience or studying towards (ACCA, CIMA) / equivalentMorgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
