We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work in Colchester for a Manufacturing and Production company.

Working in their expansive warehouse, this is vital role in a market leading business. This role requires a flexible approach to work duties, working across various departments.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience and an in date Counterbalance Forklift ticket (a Reach Forklift ticket would be a distinct advantage)/

Applicants need to be aware this isn't solely a Forklift job (60%-70% of the work will be OFF the forklifts).

Applicants will also need to be able to read and write to a high level to complete paperwork.

This Warehouse Operative is a Temporary ongoing position

Duties of the Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver will include:

Working in various departments in the the logistics department
Loading and unloading of vehicles - by hand and forklift
Picking and packing components for manufacturing (using a paper pick list)
Completion of paperwork to a good standard
Use of computers systems
Stock counting and control
Safe packing and labelling of finished product
Occasional use of hand tools The ideal Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver candidate:

Experience within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
In date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Reach Truck ticket would be an advantage)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills
