Position: Registered Nurse

Salary: £23 per hour with paid breaks!

Hours: 36 hours per week

Location: Near Okehampton

Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursing home located near to Okehampton. Committed to providing high-quality care for our residents, we are currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our compassionate team. With a focus on person-centered care and a supportive work environment, we strive to create a fulfilling experience for both our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitoring and recording vital signs
Providing wound care and other nursing interventions
Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to create comprehensive care plans
Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
Requirements:

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a nursing home setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach towards elderly residents
Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings as required
