The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a Nuclear Power Plant Project, to be based out of Cumbria on a Hybrid working basis.
Job Overview:
Responsible for delivery of mechanical engineering documentation for area and systems.
Responsible for production and/or modification of engineering design deliverables that meet the specifications required and conform to project and client standards.
Some of your duties will include:
- Produce collated packages of engineering deliverables that are required to carry out construction/installation works, including CAD work for drawings to be updated.
- Provide engineering support to the manufacturer of procurement packages and site construction/commissioning functions.
- Experience of legislation compliance such as Machineries regulations, CE marking, H&S files, EHSR, Design Change closure and O&M manuals
What do you need to succeed?
- Degree qualified or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge & understanding.
- Working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the Mechanical discipline.
- Familiar with relevant engineering design codes and standards.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD for drawings and MS Office applications for documents
- Supply chain (Vendor) support.
- Nuclear experience preferred working on similar projects, or other highly regulated industry.
