About the role of Estimator
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team, responsible for preparing accurate, detailed estimates for commercial fit out & refurbishment projects across the high end commercial sector. Our portfolio features restaurants, bars, nightclubs, offices, casinos, hotels etc, valued from £1m-£5m, with the projects regularly involving hardwood joinery, marble & stonework, structural & decorative glass, architectural metalwork, upholstery, plasterwork, specialist decorating and fine furnishing. The person who will be taken on, needs to be self sufficient and have an understanding of high-end fast track fit out. They also need to be prepared to be involved in the Pre-Construction side of things, along with meeting clients - so preferably the candidate needs to have had some experience in this as well, not just pricing.

Responsibilities for Estimator
* Prepare & manage detailed estimates for high-end commercial fit out projects
* Analyse project specifications, drawings and bills of quantities
* Conduct site visits from time to time to assess project requirements
* Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors & suppliers
* Negotiate prices & terms with suppliers & subcontractors

Requirements for Estimator
* Minimum 5 years as estimator
* Self sufficient & have an understanding of high end fast track fit out
* Need to be able to get involved in the Pre Con side of things, and to meet face to face with clients
* Required to be in office 3 days a week, on site for 1
* Worked on projects up to £5m
