Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Assistant to join a reputable secondary school in Westminster (W1U). This role is ideal for individuals passionate about student welfare and well-being, with a particular interest in supporting students' emotional and social development. The school values the Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) qualification, and candidates with this certification are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide pastoral support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and behavioural needs
Collaborate with teaching staff and the pastoral team to implement support strategies
Assist in developing and delivering intervention programmes, focusing on emotional literacy and well-being
Monitor and record student progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records
Foster a safe and inclusive environment, promoting positive behaviour and relationshipsWho We're Looking For:

Experience in a pastoral or support role within a secondary school setting
ELSA qualification is highly desirable, or a willingness to undertake training
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff
Empathetic and patient approach, with a genuine passion for supporting young people
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independentlyTransport Links:
