Salary: £44,000 + Pension + Overtime

Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:30am.

The Company

Based within one of the UK's leading privately owned specialist food manufacturing groups, they are an extremely well established manufacturing group with over 20 years of food production knowledge, and they are looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team.

Key Skills

* Apprentice Trained Engineer in electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

* Experience of Mechanical Breakdowns

* Understanding of PPM systems

The Role

You will have ideally served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering with experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working with equipment such as flow wrappers and labelling machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems, form fill machines, metal detectors, wrapping machines, thermo printers, tray sealers, within a high speed automated environment.

The ideal candidate will also have experience of PLC controlled equipment, hydraulics and Pneumatics with the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment.
