The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be required to support young people with SEMH, ADHD, ASD and other learning disabilities, providing support and learning materials to cater for all abilities.
Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, assisting with learning tasks and promoting their inclusion in classroom activities.
Build a trusting and positive relationships with students and communicate according to their understanding
Provide emotional support and encouragement to help build students resilience and confidence.
Under the guidance of teaching staff, provide feedback to students, parents and carers about their progress, achievements and any potential issues.
