A well established Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Wiltshire is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position with an immediate start. You must be eligible to work within the UK.
Hours: Monday - Friday Core hours 10am - 4pm
Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience
Responsibilities to include:
• Manage a portfolio of clients with lead accounting and finance input
• Preparing business plans and forecasts with clients
• Being responsible for the production, review and submission of annual statutory accounts, confirmation statements and all other compliance
• Conducting pre-year end checks with clients to identify risks and opportunities in terms of financial reporting and tax planning
• Producing monthly management information, tailored to clients' requirements
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts periodically and maintaining clear supporting schedules
• Line-manage one to two Assistant Management Accountants
Requirements:
• Experience as a qualified Accountant in industry and/or practice.
• Experience required in preparing management and year-end statutory accounts and liaising with clients on the results.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards financial reporting, including experience of working with trial balances, balance sheets and charts of account
• Production of management information - management accounts, KPI reporting
