Yard Supervisor

Circa £36,000 + Bonus + Benefits

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Yard Supervisor to support with the running of the yard, on a new plastic reprocessing plant.  Our client is a leading business within the Energy and Waste management industry, with a long-term goal of establishing sustainability and environmental efficiency.

As the Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Providing support and leadership to a team of Yard Operatives
Ensuring full onsite compliance
Controlling the safe and efficient import and export of material to, from and around the site
Complying with the health & safety guidelines that are in place
Supporting the quality team with inspections of goods-in and raising any issues
Other duties as required
This opportunity will require you to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with a mixture of days and nights.

To be considered for this role you should have:

Proven supervisory experience, ideally in a warehouse/yard environment is essential for this role
A good understanding of warehouse logistics and organisation 
Experience of operating mobile plant
The ability to lead a team in a positive manner
Recycling experience is advantageous but not essential
