Finance Analyst – Commercial Finance

Location: Nuneaton, CV11

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Hybrid Working: Split between the office and home, typically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on site. 

Distinct Recruitment is excited to present a brand-new opportunity for a Finance Analyst – Commercial Finance with a leading organisation. This role offers a full-time position within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering robust and structured reporting and commercial analysis.

About the Role: This newly created role is an exciting proposition within a high-calibre team. You’ll be part of a growing company with a £100m plus turnover.

The finance team consists of 50+ professionals, with a commercial finance team of 6.

Key Responsibilities:

• 50-50 split between traditional accounting and FP&A tasks
• Delivering structured reporting and commercial analysis
• Providing guidance to senior leadership, including the board
• Collaborating with stakeholders to produce insightful reporting packs
• Building and managing financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
• Driving process improvements and automation

Qualifications:

• Accounting qualification or Part Qualified (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
• Advanced Excel skills (cross-referencing tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros, Pivot Tables)
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
• Motivation to complete professional qualifications (PQ to finalist level)
