Project Quantity Surveyor - Client-Side Cost Consultancy

Projects: High-End Residential / Large-Scale Industrial

About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Project Quantity Surveyors to join a leading Cost Consultancy working client-side on prestigious new-build construction projects. We have multiple positions available for candidates with expertise in either high-end residential developments or large-scale industrial projects.

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring cost control, financial reporting, and procurement strategies are effectively managed from project inception to completion.

Project Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:

* Manage cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

* Procure and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with client-side commercial requirements.

* Conduct value engineering to optimise project costs while maintaining quality.

* Lead cost reporting, financial management, and risk assessment.

* Oversee change management, variations, and claims negotiation.

* Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards, procurement regulations, and RICS best practices.

* Support dispute resolution and provide expert commercial advice.

Project Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

* MRICS or working towards RICS chartership (preferred).

* Experience in high-end residential or large-scale industrial construction projects.

* Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.

* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

* Proficiency in cost estimation software and reporting tools.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a client-side consultancy team.
