Position: HGV Mechanic
Location: Workshop-based/Field Service in Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: 42K - 50K
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm (Overtime Available) - FLEXIBLE

Our client, a leading provider in HGV truck and trailer maintenance, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician, Fitter, or Mechanic to join their team. Role Overview:

* Perform routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards

* Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections

* Use advanced diagnostic tools (mainly Jaltest) for accurate diagnosis

* Oversee repairs from start to finish on diverse vehicle types

* Complete all required paperwork with precision

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in the workshop

Ideal Candidate:

* Experienced in HGV mechanics

* Proficient in diagnostics

* HGV license preferred, but not essential

* Able to work well under pressure
