Key Stage 1 Teacher needed

Supply Desk are seeking an excellent Key Stage 1 Teacher in the area of Winchmore Hill.

At Supply Desk, we are looking for a dedicated teacher to instruct Key Stage 1 pupils, providing support and fostering their development while collaborating with the school to innovate and enhance the educational experience.

Duties vary widely but can include:

Assisting pupils with learning and development, such as supporting those struggling with listening and reading.
Maintaining records of each pupil's progress and helping them achieve higher marks.
Helping students develop life skills and mentoring them to maintain a positive outlook.
Using diverse approaches to meet curricular objectives and ensure equal opportunities for all pupils.
Possessing a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly for Key Stage 1.
Teaching all pupils according to their educational needs, recognising the importance of every lesson.
Conducting careful and continuous assessment of pupils' learning to guide future planning.
Creating a well-ordered and secure environment to ensure the educational well-being of each child in the group
Plan and deliver lessons that follows the curriculum and allows the students to be engaged while learning

The Successful candidate will have:

Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Prior experience of working within the education sector
Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curricular
Ability to commute to Winchmore Hill and the surrounding areas
