Primary Teacher– South London– KS1

This is an exciting opportunity for a KS1 teacher to become a valued member in a high-achieving and supportive primary school located in the popular area of south London.

The role

As a KS1 teacher, you will be expected to be compassionate, patient and passionate about teaching. The role is full-time and permanent, with support for ECTs looking to kickstart their career in a prestigious, sought-after school in a fantastic location and aid for experienced teachers looking to step into leadership roles. You will be expected to foster a learning environment and educational experience to provide pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential. 

As a KS1 teacher, you will also be responsible for using a variety of teaching delivery methods appropriate to the individual learning styles, and the varying demands of the curriculum while keeping pupils engaged.

The ideal candidate

The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore you must have the following:

  • Have proven success in your teaching career to date
  • Be dedicated and passionate about teaching
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be an ECT or experienced teacher
  • Be available in September
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong and effective classroom management skills
  • Ensure pupil safety inside and outside of the classroom
