Our SEND service is seeking passionate and dedicated Deputy Assistant and Admin Manager to join our team and contribute to making a positive difference today.
This is a full-time, permanent position (36 hours per week)

About the Role:As Deputy Assistant and Admin Manager at Southwark Council, you will lead a team delivering efficient administrative processes to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You'll manage workflows, supervise staff, and ensure timely and high-quality updates to Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
You will oversee statutory assessment processes, hold a focused caseload, and collaborate with education providers and partner agencies to streamline annual reviews. A key part of your role will be ensuring excellent communication standards with families and stakeholders, alongside managing statutory requests and maintaining accurate records.
About You:You are an experienced administrator with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage teams and meet deadlines in a complex, multi-agency environment. You have excellent knowledge of SEND legislation, safeguarding, and educational issues, coupled with proficiency in data management systems.
With strong communication and organisational skills, you excel at building relationships with diverse stakeholders. Customer-focused and innovative, you’re dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families.
