As we continue our journey towards global standardisation of IT systems, we need an experienced Head of Information Security to ensure our systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with our ambitious business goals. You and your team will work across the business to protect our data and systems from cyber threats while ensuring compliance and supporting business growth.
As the Head of Information Security, you will lead a small team responsible for ensuring we maintain secure business systems and processes. Your primary focus will be to manage the development and implementation of our security strategies, ensuring they align with our broader business plans. You'll take charge of identifying security risks and designing effective measures to mitigate them. Additionally, you will oversee the development of secure processes and systems to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber-attacks. A key part of your role will be to manage the information security budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support business priorities.
Beyond internal systems and processes, you will need to be happy to be hands-on and play an integral role in ensuring that Games Workshop maintains strong relationships with third-party suppliers, ensuring that they uphold appropriate security controls for any personal data they handle on our behalf. You will also be experienced in providing reporting and presenting to our senior management team and the Board on security risks and mitigation efforts.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be an expert in your field but also able to get involved and do the work that needs doing. You will have expert information security qualifications and a proven ability to develop and execute strategies that respond to evolving threats.
Ideally, you will bring experience in ISO27001 as we work towards this standard and significant experience in security frameworks and risk management, particularly in publicly listed businesses. Your ability to balance multiple priorities, work at pace, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior leaders will be critical. As the Head of Information Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our systems are secure, resilient, and able to support the continued growth of our business.
