Senior Fund Accountant - 12-Month FTC

Salary: £65,000/yr - £70,000/yr

A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its finance and operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Specialising in delivering sustainable investment solutions across real estate and infrastructure, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the management of a flagship global real estate fund, working closely with portfolio managers, legal counsel, and external service providers. Their focus spans direct and indirect investments, debt and equity structures, and core to opportunistic strategies, ensuring long-term growth and resilience for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review financial reporting for fund structures, including NAV calculations and distributions.
• Oversee investment valuations and performance measurement.
• Manage relationships with administrators and auditors.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports and lead the annual audit process.
• Monitor liquidity, credit facilities, and investor drawdowns.
• Support tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct financial due diligence on new investments.
• Assist with investor queries, RFPs, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to process improvements.

Key Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA qualified with up to 5 years PQE.
• Background in Big Four or top-tier accountancy firm preferred.
• Experience in real estate or private equity fund management is advantageous.
• Strong financial control, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proactive, organised, and a team player who can collaborate effectively.
