Accounts Assistant - Reading (hybrid) - £28,000- £32,000

We are excited to be supporting a returning client as they search for an Accounts Assistant to help with accounts production, purchase ledger and income/ bank reconciliation.

PE backed, these guys have seen some brilliant organic growth but are highly acquisitive meaning you'll be joining an ever growing team and company offering you some fantastic career progression.

A bit more about the job....

• You'll be helping with Month End, inclusive of - Purchase Ledger, Expense Processing & Bank Reconciliations
• Cashflow -summarise weekly reports for management and comment on higher value outflows
• Banking - transfer of information from bank statement to cash flow and Sage and keep both updated and reconciled
• Purchase Ledger - assist with purchase ledger in Sage; including coding of invoices to obtaining appropriate authorisation and review the aged creditors listing to maintain credit terms.
• Assist with management accounts production - provide support to the Financial Controller in the reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts.

A bit about you....

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Sage experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience in a similar role
